Greenhorn is just the type of course that every young lawyer should take. The comprehensiveness of the course sets it apart from any of the other training or skills oriented workshops that I have taken. The topics covered go far beyond existing training for young attorneys by taking a more holistic approach to building one’s practice. This course has truly given us the tools to be successful for many years to come.

The course was a well-balanced blend of practical, educational, and substantive material and advice. The detailed breakdown of the different phases of a case was particularly helpful because of the case that I am currently working on. Now that I have a better understanding of what comes next in the process, I know what I need to focus on to make myself an indispensable part of the team. Also, the information that we discussed about drafting internal and external documents was worth its weight in gold.

I also wanted to mention how valuable the section on health and wellness was. As discussed, no one really addresses the health and wellness issues that lawyers face. It was refreshing to have an open dialogue on this subject. In a profession that has such high levels of depression, it is important to learn how to identify and deal with these issues before they happen.

I would be remiss if I didn’t comment on how helpful your organizational tips from day one were. I plan on implementing several of your suggestions as soon as I enter my office on Monday.
